Somerset

Somerset levels

In Somerset we have a thriving community of meditators meeting in local halls, churches, chapels and private homes. We welcome the opportunity to share the gift of Christian meditation with newcomers and experienced meditators and with people of all beliefs, faith traditions or none.

There are groups in: Axbridge, Butleigh, Glastonbury, Ilminster, Martock, Norton St Philip, Taunton and Wells.

If you would like to come along to one of our groups please click the link  Find a Christian Meditation Group above to find details of the groups which are near to you. If there isn't one please get in touch and let us know of your interest.

If you have never meditated before or would like to know more about meditation in the Christian tradition you might like to have a look at the How to Meditate link above and for more information see www.wccm.org

As well as our regular group meetings which vary in their frequency from weekly to monthly we hold Somerset events throughout the year which you can read about below and there are also South West region events offering days and retreats.

The World Community for Christian Meditation is a community which brings together those interested in the practice of meditation... there are no joining fees or membership and our newsletters and many of our resources are free. Being part of a community is invaluable in helping us all to encourage and support each other in our practice.

If you need further information please contact: Julie Moore, WCCM Coordinator for Somerset, By Email 07708 440609
